Weekly Round Up #14 THE BEST WEEKEND EVA IDST

Alternative Fashion Blogger Foxxtailz

Hey Lads, I have had the best weekend ever, it’s been really, really, bloody great and I think just what I needed. At the moment me and James seem to be fully living the weekend to the full and making the most of the city we live in and this weekend was no exception and I kinda really needed it. This week I’ve felt a little bit glum and lost and fed up and on the cusp of packing everything in, so on this Sunday evening - I’m feeling a lot lighter.

Wednesday I met up with Charley and Darcie for a drink after work. I hadn’t seen them in AGES and it was so good to catch up with them both - I need to do things like that more often.

This Friday was mine and James’ 5 year anniversary which is cray! We’re not overly romantic/soppy blah blah but we figured as it had been a whole 5 years we should do something. We decided to go to Little Tokyo, one of my all time fave places to eat ever ever. It’s legit like being in Tokyo. I had the vegan mango dunk and James had the vegan curry -afterwards, we went home and went to sleep because we were so full after.

Saturday I decided to wake up super early and FINALLY put to use those Pinterest boards I had put together for IG inspo. I’ve felt a little man when it came to my blog and IG so it was great to finally enjoy creating again - I got so much stuff done and had a lot of fun getting a little creative too. On Saturday, mid outfit change in the Belgrave cos ~blog life~, there was a bunch of food stalls including one that sold the dreamiest Vegan cakes, I KNOW I’m not supposed to be eating sugar lol but couldn’t resist picking one up. It was bloody beaut. After I had got all my blog/IG bits done, we went to the Northern Monk as there was a tattoo/arty market thing that we decided to check out.

Sunday I had a bit of a lazy morning, I got out of bed around 10am and did a work out before getting ready and filming a few bits. The plan for the day was to head to Temple doughnuts, I haven’t been in ages and had been bugging James to go back for months. We decided to go to an early afternoon cinema showing of Pet Semetary. I’m not really one for films and get so bored watched them BUT I really bloody loved this book. I got invited to the premier at the beginning of the month but couldn’t go because of work and not having funds for train travel. Film was a solid 10/10 and not too scary.

Things I’ve loved this week

  • The chilling tales of Sabrina The Teenage Witch - I finished it at the beginning of the week and kinda don’t know what to do with myself now
  • I found at long last Gudetama jammies in Primark after missing out on them last year and never being able to find my size
  • Being able to work out again - I’ve managed to smash 5 work outs this week including pole which I have fully loved
  • The blue skies, I know this week has been a bit nippy but it’s still nice to see the sun and a blue sky
  • I managed to bag a Santa Cruz long sleeve for super cheap - thank you Urban Outfitters sale
Until Next time XO
