Weekly round up #13 Manchester and Gudetama eats

Alright lads and happy first round up of April! April was one of my fave months of 2018, so I’m hoping April 2019 follows suit and let me tell you - so far so good!
My working week was bland as per BUT my weeks at work seem to be settling down. I’m more on the ball and with new systems being introduced I find I’m learning a bunch of new things. I want to be an expert in my field. My long term goal has never been to be freelance or a full time blogger as many people assume, it’s to be bloody great at email marketing. I want to keep learning new skills within that field and excel within the company I work for. So on a whole, my work life is pretty rad. Despite the having to get up early, public transport and having to spend 8 hours there - can’t have it all though, right? To be honest, the aforementioned is not even that bad.

I set myself some goals for April and well, first week in I completely failed lol. First one was to exercise everyday. I haven’t been to the gym once this week. . . .  BUT in my defence I’ve been really bloody ill, I’m feeling so much better today though and my cough has 90% cleared so I’m ready to work hard and smash some gym sessions next week. I’ve really, really missed going to the gym and it’s only been 7 days. Second one was to not eat sugar, all week I did so, so well and then I came on and we all know a hormonal craving for Easter eggs can’t be ignored. Really need to work on that. But on the whole my eating habits have been good.

This weekend had been another dreamy one. I’ve done away with the stupid workload I used to do and claimed my weekends back. No longer am I filming and editing 2397094 videos, writing and shooting 904242 blog posts and taking 82902092 Instagram pictures. I’m creating as I please and I feel so much more relaxed and nothing really feels like a chore anymore. Ive prioritised my weekends for me and my friends, blog work comes way after - and I’m still getting shit done but at a much less pressured pace.

Saturday we headed to Manchester on the coach to try out the pop-up Gudetama menu at Shoryu. I won’t go into too much detail about it as I do have a separate post allll about it coming up. But any chance to try out Japanese food with one of my fave Sanrio characters and I’m in. It was such a beaut of a day Saturday, like a proper spring afternoon it was lovely! Afterwards we had a wander around the NQ, I visited my fave plant place and picked up another cutie in the clearance AND a beaut ceramic pot too all for just £5.

Sunday I sorted the flat out, I can finally start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the sheer amount of stuff I have. My wardrobe is starting to look more organised and the flat in general is a lot less cluttered. I put a bunch of stuff on my Instagram stories and shifted so much of it! Whatever money I make either goes straight into savings or paying the last of our credit card off - nearly there!

Things I’ve loved this week:

  • My new blogger theme! After the whole Pipdig ~scandal~ I thought it was best I jump ship and find me a brand new look for my site. After a lot of searching I finally found the one I loved! I managed to install around 90% of it myself which I’m well pumped about before I had to get the lass that made this to fix the sliding bar.
  • SABRINA IS BACK ON NETFLIX. I am so pleased and low key want ice white hair and I have a really big crush on Nick Scratch omg.
  • RuPaul - well pumped its back but WTF was the last episode?! The queen that went home was ROBBED.
  • Bucksfizz. Me and James have had like 5 bottles this weekend because we are not real people
  • I found my main LazyOaf ISO item for £15 on Depop! Sometimes it’s great and not just full of 12 year olds offering you £3.50 including postage for your never worn TopShop Joni jeans.
Until next time XO
