What do you wear for a day at the coast when it's non-stop raining

Lads I ain't got a fricking clue, so the result was this totally thrown together outfit, all I knew was that I wanted to be was dry and warm, with the rain being so relentless I knew practically was key.
From the moment we woke up its poured. The umbrella was totally a necessity, as was the coat and the hat and the boots and well. . . . you get the idea. What I really really want to know is, why the hell I had to dig out my winter hat and boots out in August. I'm so not totally ready for Winter to come storming in- I feel like we've only just got rid of it and I wouldn't quite mind holding on for summer a little bit longer I've seen whispers of Christmas on social media and basically that needs to chill. Alsa for some reason, my fam and I thought it was a great idea to head off to the coast still, why? I again have no idea, I guess it's cos we're from Yorkshire and nothing really phases us, ridic weather elements included.

Even though I confessed to being afraid of wearing black a few posts back, my outfit of the day turned out to be as dreary as the weather. In the colder months, I turn into the layer queen so this is exactly what I channelled today [or yesterday for when you guys read it]

Things I dug out the wettest day of the year is not EVER:

1) My Hips and Hair dress because it's been a while and I forgot how much I loved it with it's over sized and acid-washednesssss [not a job my Grammarly's going cray]

2) My gorge Zara coat with silver hardware I got at the beginning of the year, even though it was absolutely tipping it down, it wasn't really that cold and I flat out refused to get out my actual winter coat so this one was the perfect contender even though it was sans hood and my neck was kinda cold cos there's only so far I can zip it up without looking like a wanker

3) My River Island Boot baes that got me through Winter that when I think back to it weren't actually that practically as they've got huge cut outs in them for the sake of ''fashion''

4) My new Zara mesh bag which again wasn't that practical which I kinda knew but I had that this is new and I must use it thing, but with the sheer amount of rain that came down it soaked everything inside including my new book which got me right in the feels.

I did, however, manage to squeeze in a bit of colour in the form of my Charlavail ''be nice'' beanie that basically is the same colour scheme as my hair.

Wearing:
Dress Hips and Hair | Boots River Island | Top New Look | Bag Zara | Beanie Charlvail
