Home Wish List With Nest

So, in regards to ~lyf~ ambitions and ''milestones'' you're supposed to hit, learn to drive, have kids, get married etc, there's only one I've even been bothered about and that's owning my own home. I moved out of my parent's house at 19 after taking a year out to travel. Which was great and everything accept it was into renting accommodation meaning I could never well and truly put my mark on the houses I rented. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been able to some degree put my mark on the house I have rented in the past, but I have never well and truly been able to do exactly as I like. The current property James and I are in at the moment I truly adore, it's a little dated [read very] the carpets gross and needs to either be ripped out or clean with an industrial strength carpet cleaner, the curtains look as if they belong in the 1940's and oh my god don't even get me started on the kitchen furnishings, I"m talking white plastic sides that look like they belong in a caravan. Even though this house doesn't belong to me, I find myself daydreaming what I would do to it if by some stroke of luck we were ever able to buy it.  I've compiled a little wish list of furnishings  I'd like to add to my lovely [despite its flaws]  little home.

1) Once I make it a full time blogger ahem . . . . I'd want a super chic office for all the inspo and a little place I can get all creative, so of course, I need an awesome desk to be the focal point of my creative space, kinda in love with this String works desk I'm a sucker for all white furniture and the contrasting wood top is just dreamy.

2) I like stuff, I have a lot of stuff, one may even go as far to say that I'm a bit of a hoarder. Ya gal could do with some more storagre, totoally crushing on this string pocket shelving, the perfect soultion to all my hoarding needs ;)

3) Even though I have a whole house, like a teenager, I spend arounf 90% of time at home in my room in bed. I work long days and bascailly bed is my safe sapce, in fact, I'm in RN as I time this hahaa and the reaosn why my hero shot for this post is my bed, It's my fave place! I love this Zeitraum Simple Hi Bed I mean, it looks like its flaoting for crying out loud!

4) I feel like every fashion blogger needs one of these Punt Platel Clothes Stand, perfect for choosing your fave pieces for the OOTD's you wanna shoot for that upcoming weeks content or yano, proudly displying your latest buys at your fave store.

5) I've come over all mother of the plants recenlty, I love collecting big leafed green plants, I have so many at the moment they're kinda over running the house which is totoally find by me but I feel like they need a home of their own, this Ferm Living Plant Box in dusty blue is just the dramyiest of places to keep my plant babies safe.

Have you got any must have buys for your home? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. It's never ending wish list when you own your own place and can do as you please!!! I'm no good with plants - I kill them all within a month!

  2. I spend most of my time in my room too haha, I try to convince myself it's not because I am lazy and like my bed but that because it's where my laptop charger is... Who am I kidding :)

  3. Bed is just the greatest place lets be honest haha Although I have been spending more time in the livingroom and therefore really want that living plant bed now!

  4. I can't wait to get my own house so I can decorate everything the way I want to! Luckily I live with my parents and they actually do ask my opinion when it comes to decorating, but it's still not fully mine, and I have to take their likes into consideration. I really love that string shelving, it would be perfect in my hallway!

  5. I love having my own house because you can do what you want! But it is SO expensive to do so. We have a pretty good mortgage repayment and moved into a house that only needed a few changes and 6 months later we're still nowhere near finished haha!!
