Banishing my jean Phobia?

Alternative Fashion Blogger Foxxtailz
Ok perhaps not FULLY banishing but basically, I really hate skinny jeans or, I used to hate skinny jeans. Way back in my youth when I was just a young emo discovering the likes of TBS, Panic!at the disco, PKLL and BMTH, you wouldn’t see me in anything else but the skinniest of skinny jeans. They were the emo calling card and I had to make sure everyone knew that was my jam, It's not like the excessive eyeliner of huge sweep fringe was a give away or anything, I also needed the tightest of jeans I could get my emo mits on.

Fast forward to my early twenties and I despised them. I despised anything denim. I stopped wearing jeans altogether because I always feel like such a frump when I wear them. Favouring anything else [mostly tartan pants] over jeans. Then then the whole mom jean thing happened and I started dabbling in the world of denim again. I reignited my love for denim with a pair of mom jeans from monki with the cutest heart cut outs just above the knees, I loved them and I loved wearing them and any given opportunity. I decided not all denim was bad, I was just scared of the skinny variety.

Since then I’ve added a few pairs of mom jeans to my collection including the most beaut shredded AF jeans I’m looking forward to showing you. I love them so much but it’s kinda too cold to essentially get my legs out. However, I made a surprising purchase last month - I BOUGHT A PAIR OF BLACK SKINNIES. I know WTF, I don’t know what came over me either?! Well I do, I saw a pair on ASOS that were super high waisted and looked Sick with a pair of big old boots and I wanted IN. That and they were only £15.

Say hello to my new pals from Coullison studios. Ok so I still feel kinda frumpy and they seem to stick to everything in an unforgiving way but I’m trying not to care about it because, I’m actually enjoying have skinny jeans back in my wardrobe for the first time in years. I kinda digging simple outfits [jeans, boots, T’s etc] with a colour pop and this outfit is my fave yet, perfect for these gloomy January days bring fun and practical - the perfect outfit for a wander around Manchester, exploring the streets of the NQ and eating all the vegan food.
