When the smallest accessory makes the biggest impact

Aw man, I love looking at a set of photos and getting that warm glow kinda feeling of remembering a bloody good day. I'm gonna rewind you a few weekends ago to an accidental day of plans that was just supposed to be a fleeting visit to London to shoot with Kaye that turned into a really pleasant day. Sometimes the unplanned days turn out to be the best ones.
Second blessing of the day was seeing the back of that 91370927302 year long winter and the beginnings of some good weather - I felt like Spring had finally come to say hey which made an already great day a million times better.

I arrived in London early, met Kaye at Kings X before heading off to our first location, finishing off at the Picadilly Central cinema, where afterwards, we just hung out and chatted while I waited for India to get into London to meet her for the first time. India is one of the first bloggers I started talking to and after literally YEARS it was so good to finally meet and hang out with for a day of exploring which then led us to meet Kitty. We basically spent the day, hanging out chatting and finding all the Vegan eats central had to offer - Kitty made an excellent tour guide for that part, 12/10 would recommend ;)

This set, in particular, we shot that day had the most London ~vibe~ to get. Billboards in Piccadilly? check. Red buses? Check. And not forgetting a bloggers fave, that winding road leading up to Oxford Street. Double check. I was also seriously feeling my outfit. I was still on the ''IVE MANAGED TO GET MY HANDS ON THE LAZY OAF DR MARTEN FIRST DROP'' high and essentially built my whole outfit around that. I decided on keeping it simple would be best to give the boots all the glory of the outfit. I went for my new Beska dungaree dress cos your gal is still not over the whole dungaree thing and probs never will be and a cropped strip T I picked up from H&M last year. To give the outfit a little something, I decorated the front of my dungaree dress with pin badges very kindly gifted to me by the guys at Punky Pins. I thought it would be cool to switch it up a bit and styling them on my dress instead of a jacket which with pins, is usually the go-to option finishing out the outfit perfectly whilst being able to give away a bit of my personality in a snapshot using the pins. Anyone else in the no hair wash club too . . . . .
