The tale of the girl that just wanted to do a brand justice part 1.

Today on iamfoxxtailz, I'm going to indulge you in story time if you'll allow me too. It's the story of a girl who gets sent a really great parcel from a pretty great company that's she's been wanting to work with some time and she can't wait to shoot said items in the parcel. However, the weather in the UK for weeks fought against her meaning she was finding it tricky to shoot something good and do the brand justice, until one day she got so freaking fed up, realised she lived in England and had to make do with what she's got.

I find this a lot, our internet lives have become so saturated, there's some sort of unwritten pressure to have these perfectly perfect social media feeds, these perfectly perfected lives and the air that you're this perfectly perfected person. We've all kinda started to get sucked into - myself included and well, it's just not realistic is it? I've started to stop applying unnecessary pressure on myself and holy heck it feels good lads. Don't get me wrong, I love me a filtered photo on Insta as much as the next person but this need to be 100% perfect at all times, well, not so much. Am I even making sense? I hope so.

So, when it came to shooting some fab bits that I got sent from Fearless, I started to overthink what I wanted to do. I was made up they reached out to me after LondonEdge and wanted to really do the guys justice [like I want to do for all brands I get to work with] and I started hating on everything I was doing until one weekend I just gave myself a shake and headed out to shoot the look I had styled for one of the T's, my over thinking left at home.

I need to remind myself I'm currently a one-man band [miunes James' camera help of course]. I write the words, I edit the shots, I direct the way in which the photos are shot and think of the post concept. I schedule the tweets, interact with people and try and grow a following. I do all that on top of a demanding full-time job. This ain't vouge, this is my place on the internet that' only got me behind it,  it's never gonna be high fashion or to editorial standards and I'm a ok with that. p.s that all said I wish the weather would perk up a little so it actually felt like spring . . . .
