Hard Times

Alternative Fashion Blogger Foxxtailz in Zara
Don't let the title fool you, ain't no hard times happening up in here. My shirt was just giving me all the Paramore Hard Times vibes and basically couldn't resist.

Remeber me mentioning in a previous post my few sale buys I picked up? Well, this shirt from Zara was one of them. I saw it when I went on a shopping trip with my mum back in summer when she was visiting from New Zealand. It was instant love, the print, the cute little sleeves and the super dreamy dipped hem BUT I'd also spent a little bit too much that day after promising myself I'd be good. I had major buyers regret and found myself thinking about the uber cute 80's inspired sunglasses print and the fact that it wasn't hung lovingly in my wardrobe, le sob. So you can bet I was bloody thrilled to see it was now 50% off - if that's not fated then lads I don't know what it. That and when I saw it again on the site it reminded me of the day I spent in York with my mum, previous to her visit, I hadn't seen her in 4 years and missed our shopping trips we used to go on together, egging each other on to buy whatever caught our eye in the shop. We were detrimental to each others bank accounts clearly. So now, whenever I've worn or seen this shirt it reminds me of that day and my mum and well, it's kinda nice as I'm not really sure when I'll be seeing her again.

However, this is very much a Spring/Summer shirt as I found out last weekend when wearing it, probably wasn't very clever pairing it with a pair of shorts cos ya gal was frigging cold but YOLO I thought the whole outfit was cute. I kinda recreated an outfit I LOVED that I wore in summer when I went to London for the day, but instead of this Zara shirt, I had tucked in my pink Lazy Oaf shirt in my shorts and wore that instead. The shorts are from River Island I've had for an age, they're just so frigging comfy and perfect for just chucking on with anything the time that I've had them and still love them is a testament to how versatile they are.

I'm also super pleased with how these photos have turned out [yes, I am aware most of them I'm sat on the floor but I kinda can't stop it now that I've started] the light was super dreamy and I'm kinda digging the urban city vibes the past few sets seem to have. Perks of living in a city - anywhere is a fashion blogger paradise.
