Discovering Vintage

Alternative Fashion Blogger Foxxtailz
I'm a newbie when it comes vintage. I'm always in awe of people that dress head to toe in vintage, thrifting stuff and finding those diamonds in rough. My best friend does this particularly well. Shes got a wardrobe of the most gorgeous vintage finds and styles them so freaking well. I've dabbled in vintage but I'm never really that good at finding one-off pieces.

However, this all kinda changed when I got the opportunity to work with The Vintage Scene. You may remember me styling up a gorge crushed velvet burgundy shirt over Halloween from there. Well, I was lucky enough to receive this awesome vintage Harley shirt from them too. Whilst looking on their site, I found LOADS of things I loved, instead of not really finding anything I liked.

I decided to just go simple with this t-shirt when it came to styling it up on my blog. As it was quite an oversized fit, I thought I would pair it with my mom jeans for an overall relaxed fit and LOVED the outcome. I bloody love the vibrant colour of the top, it gives the otherwise standard top and t-shirt combo a fun edge. I've also been living in my creepers from TUK the past few months and thought they were the perfect finishing touch. Yay for simple yet effective outfits!

  1. I'm a vintage clothing wanker! Because I'm straight up and down, shape-wise, 50s and 60s clothing suits me so I've always shopped vintage. I get everything but my underwear on Depop these days! x
