Halloween OOTD #8 Witch Please

Alternative Style Blogger Foxxtailz in Boohoo
HAPPY HALLOWEEN WITCHES!

Yes, all caps was totally necessary before you ask cos, HALLOWEEN. Unfortunately, this year for Halloween I haven't been able to fully celebrate it. The weekend just gone Jim and I moved into a flat in the centre of Leeds and well, adult responsibility overrides any sort of Halloween plans for the weekend *sobs uncontrollably into a share sized bag of skittles* It's cool though as I've finally got my dream of city living. I still can't quite believe it. I have hit full contentment in my adult life and it's truly wonderful.

For my last Halloween look, I thought I'd go full cliche. Churchyard, novelty Halloween slogan something and pale complexion, even though the latter can't really be helped [maybe she's born with it, maybe it's just a vitamin D deficiency]. Now, usually, I steer clear of anything loosely demonic as it kinda scares me and shit like that aint' to be like messed with etc. But I figured a low key pentagram kinda star thing was ok. I think it's been brought it in quite a religious family where I was scared of the devil and stuff like is kinda hard to shake, but in my adult years, I've kinda started to lighten up about it. . . .

I wanted to make this look into an everyday thing too. I actually really adore the dress, its super flattering and I feel clings to the right bits [the bottom of my long sleeve excluded, thx for giving me such an odd outline] and I'm more then likely gonna be wearing it all year round and not just kept for the Halloween season. I decided to layer it up with a striped top and finish it off with my fave beanie ever ever to really dress it all down.

  2. Ahh Halloween is just the best! I hope the move went well hun! I know what you mean about the symbolism, I personally was never scared of it or anything but other people were, when for example I've worn a top with a small pentagram on it when I was younger. Back then I didn't even know what it meant, lol. But now, knowing and being much more open minded I freaking love seeing people wearing different symbols etc as long as they are being respectful. I love how you've styled this "witch dress" and the location is so perfect! girl you slay!!
