My love affair with a long dungaree

Alternative Style Blogger Foxxtailz
Things this outfit reminds me of:
1) Mario
2) A painter and decorator
3) A really bad 90s throw back
4) A giant toddler

What I wanted was something comfy and what I got was a hybrid of the above 4, beggars can't be choosers I guess. You see, the quest for comfort in an outfit was needed as I was planning on heading out to have a little explore around Brick Lane after a freaking full on but equally Awesome day at LondonEdge and then the after party. Not knowing what kind of a state I'd be in the morning after [ya gal just can't turn down a free strongbow] I just wanted comfort without having to sacrifice style [lol did I just say that]

I've been meaning to buy a pair of long dungarees for a little bit but never got round to it, why? I have no idea. I did a little bit of last minute shopping before my trip down to London and spotted these babies for £17. Now ideally I wanted more of a mom fit pair as I've really really gone off anything skin tight and was worried these would make me feel all frumpy and uncomfortable like jeans do. Trying them on I found they were the comfiest things ever, they're super soft, like that almost feel like velvet, kinda. They're stretchy too so they don't feel too restricting and I've basically worn them any chance I can get since buying them.

They were the perfect choice for post after party exploring down Brick Lane. To break up the black I threw on my light pink denim Jacket [not pictured] I got from Harajuku nearly 2 years ago, my new nautical stripe top from Joy which I swear is the softest thing ever and makes me feel like I'm wearing a hug and my Paramore cap cos I'm still trying desperately to make it work and I'm not sure if it does? And of course, my docs with a novelty sock because I"m still utterly obsessed with them, defo my purchase of the year.

And of course, as I was surrounded by all the street art ever, I couldn't resist shooting near an uber colourful wall because this is me we're talking about and you know I just can't help myself.

Wearing:
Dungarees: Primark | Top: Joy | Shoes: Dr.Martens x LazyOaf | Hat: Paramore merchandise
