The Playsuit I Can't Take Off - Literally

Alternative Style Blogger Foxxtailz Pull and Bear Playsuit

So, recently I was played by my own profession embarrassingly enough. I fell victim to those smart ads that pop up on sites you're browsing/emails anywhere on the God damned internet just because you just so happened to be looking at their site, click off as you were being super good and didn't' succumb to buying anything. Being haunted by purchases not made literally has a new meaning now thanks to smart ads or whatever the frick they're called. You see, I've got a new shopping haunt, Pull and Bear and I could be wrong so please reprehended me if I am but I'm pretty sure they're run by or have something to do with Zara. Now we all know I'm a sucker for Zara, even more so when they have mega crazy sales and the prices are literally heaven on earth to a gal with a shopping problem [constanly working on it and doing well I may add;)] Pull and Bears just the same when it comes to the sales. They're kinda more like Zara's TRF section with quirky tee's and all the bright colours my personal fave and I first shopped with them at the beginning of the year when I picked up a few bits in the sale and basically, I've become a little a lot obsessed with them, whoops.

I was struck with a bit of a fashion dilemma when trying to figure out what the hell to wear to a wedding abroad, like what is suitable? Am I going to get too hot like what are the rules to abroad wedding decorum? As I'm trying to do the whole ~ulitilse your wardrobe thing~ and not buying anything unless it's really really necessary I came up stumped when having a looking at what I already had. Then I legit must have ordered like 12 dresses/outfits and tried them all on felt like a potato and then sent them all back. It wasn't until I was answering some emails that this little tropical number caught my eye with one of those smart ads genuinely feeling like I had found ''the one'' after months of searching and hating everything else I had tried hashtag first world probz.

I've got a bit of a thing for fruit on clothing, especially watermelons. In fact, I've got a low key huge obsession with Watermelon stuff at the moment that's getting a bit out of hand . . . . the less said on that the better. However what I will say is that this playsuit [which I originally thought was a dress when I first saw it on the site FYI] has watermelons on it so basically it was a winner for me. When it arrived I didn't feel like a potato when I tried it on, minus they fact that this thing has no zip and absolutely no give at the waist so trying to pull it on over my butt and hips was a bit of a hassle. I'm a size 10 in tops and bottoms and usually I go for things in a medium just to be on the safe side and I still had trouble getting it over my butt, however when it was on, it was kinda baggy around my waist which meant if I sized up again then it would be even bigger and well, basically look daft. I kept the medium as I did love it in all its watermelon/crepe material goodness, I'd just have to grin and bear the annoyance of needed to take it off when I needed a pee.

However, that aside I do like that this does kinda look like a cheeky high-waisted shorts and cropped top set, I am also totally LIVING for these knot front tops ATM. Basically, to sum up, this playsuit gives me life and has satisfied successfully my inner clothes fiend with full marks. Now the shoes, I can't round off a post without mentioning these beauts. Now, I actually bought these last year for my BFF's wedding but sadly they didn't make the cut. Lovingly dubbed my Slytherin shoes cos of all the green metallic goodness I decided to give them their very first outing around London, BIG mistakes. By the end of the day, my poor trotters were covered in the worst death blisters of my life. The thing is, the damn things hadn't rubbed me all day and were actually quite comfortable to walk in, so it wasn't until I changed into my flats at the end of the day at the Underbelly Festival I saw the massacre they had bestowed upon my feet. Still, love dem doe.

  1. Zara is one of those shops I never go into, so I didn't know they ran Pull & Bear if that's true! I love Pull & Bear, although I don't frequent them too often, I always enjoy what they have on site. I went into their store in Amsterdam and fell in love with pretty much everything on sale! Too bad I didn't have enough money to buy everything I wanted, haha. This playsuit is the cutest - I love the cut out detailing, I think it looks fab. I'm also a big fan of watermelon print - I got watermelon shorts out of Matalan a few months ago and they're so adorable :) You look amazing - I love the sandals, it's a shame they aren't the comfiest for long walks!

  2. Oh this playsuit is adorable! I love pull and bear, it always has such adorable clothes in, though I find their sizing to be off which is a bit annoying. Also love your sunglasses, such a gorgeous shape.
