Blogger in Camden

Alternative Style Blogger Foxxtailz Explores Camden Market
Ah, guys, Monday was a pure dream. I was invited down by Camden Markets for a little blogger exploration and also asked to write a journalistic piece for their site and an Instagram take over, all will be live Friday. Camden is one of my fave places in the world hands down, I was ecstatic to be asked to be a part of such a cool thing. I've been visiting Camden for years, ensuring that I make the trip every time I head down to London. It's one of the only places you can find far out fashions, Vintage gems and any kind of street food from around the world you can think of in one place.

Just looking through these photos makes heart my happy. They're so colourful and vibrant and dripping with culture. When we first arrived, we met Steph and headed off to get ourselves an Instagram worthy crepe for breakfast, giving me all the nostalgic feels for when I visited Harajuku nearly 2 years ago. The guys over their are defs connoisseurs of all things crepe and the one I had from Nojo were definitely Harajuku worthy just sayin'

After that, we were left to our own devices to explore to our heart's content. Now it's not a trip to Camden if you don't:

1) Take a picture by the Iconic Camden Bridge

2) Try on and buy all the trinkets

3) Leave with 2287 pairs of brightly coloured Hareem pants

4) Take in the awesome decor of the market, ceiling full of lampshades anyone?

5) Spot the brass horse statues

6) Sample all of the food [seriously] at the food stalls

7) Discover a hidden gem

8) Lust over everything in Dr Martens

9) Take in the weird at CyberDog

10) Buy a freshly squeezed orange juice that zesty AF

This trip, I spent a lot of the time looking out for anything Japanese. From the anime and manga, traditional pieces like the Daruma dolls and tea sets and heavenly inspired Harajuku clothes. What can I say, I'm a little [read a lot] obsessed with Japan.
The thing about Camden is, there's always something new waiting to be discovered, for me it was the coloured glass lights in Unique London. I fell in love with them instantly, wishing I could take every single one home with me.

Now, a trip to Camden wouldn't be complete if you didn't indulge in something from the abundance of street food stalls to choose from, this time round I had to try me out some Halloumi fries, however literally after about 3 I was done, they're probably more of a sharing thing but points to you if you can finish a whole portion but they are definitely something not to be missed.

At the end of the Camden endeavour, we were very very kindly gifted a phone case of our choice from SkinnyDip, basically the queens of Phone cases and other sassy AF accessories. Shout out to Camden Markets and Steph for inviting me down for such an awesome day - it's something I'll never forget!

You can also check out my Camden Vlog for a virtual tour of one of the quirkiest places to visit in the UK <3

Thanks to Alicia for taking some awesome shots as we wandered around the market, you can see more of her work over on her Instagram: instagram.com/aliciaclarkephoto or www.aliciaclarke.com
