You can't Jump Around to Pop-Punk in a Dress?

Alternative Blogger Foxxtailz

You'll have to forgive me if this post seems more ~ rambleier~ lol is that even a word? then usual. I'm tired from a full on week at work writing copy after to copy and full of plane anxiety for my upcoming trip to Zante in like 12 days I can't concentrate. Like legit, I haven't slept in like a month due to worry. If anyway has ways to help me chill the fuck out it would be most appreciated . . . .

Let me rewind you back to last weekend where Jess, James, Cal and I embarked on a journey to Leeds [I'm making it sound wayyy more epic than it actually was] in search of some nice urban locations to take shorts and do a little experimentation for my blog content. I've felt like what I have been producing has become a little stale and wanted to shake things up a bit and I couldn't be happier with the result if I tried TBH. Jess has helped me fall in love with it all again and I couldn't thank her more. Galz got crazy talent. We managed to spot some colourful graffiti [you know I love it] and I re-visited single shot in Leeds for some seriously cool location vibes.

This outfit was actually my back up outfit for slam dunk but I decided against it last minute as after a few over priced ciders, I knew I would be bouncing around to all the pop punk whilst simultaneously flashing my butt at onlookers. Cute. I went for shorts in the end to minimise the flashing. BUT a trip to Leeds on a sunny afternoon, it was more than perfect for. This slip dress is one of the last things I bought after I had decided to try and utilise my wardrobe more rather than buy something new every few weeks [honest guys, it's that book I read, it really got me in the eco feels] being only £6 in the Monki sale AND being long enough to actually cover me so it doesn't show off my butt [jumping around to CIWWAF exculding] its a winner. Yes, I know it makes me look like an extra from The Flintstones but with a mesh tee thrown on underneath, I kinda dig it anyway?

I've also got a thing for wearing ridic socks with my vans, my current faves at the mo are these avocado ones [also from Monki] all about the ridic deets right? I've also basically had this red bandana surgically attached to my head - gals going all the way back to 2006 with this one.

  1. Love this outfit! (I know I think I've probably said that on all of your recent posts - I'm so behind so I'm trying to catch up!) I love cute socks with patterns on them too, and your avocado ones are too cute! Hope you get a chance to have 5 minutes to yourself before it gets busy again, I know that feel, and hope you enjoy your trip to Zante too! - Tasha

  2. Absolutely love these photos! I've been to Zante before and I loved it! Can I ask what you are worried about? I may be able to help put your mind at rest about some things as I have experienced it myself. Feel free to DM me if you wanna talk about it!

  3. You pull this outfit off so well! I used to be obsessed with bandanas, might have to try revisiting that little trend. And I love all of the locations you've chosen for these pictures, so cool!
