Take me to the Northern Quarter

Alternative Fashion Blogger Foxxtailz Northern Quarter

Remember summer? I.E, the handful of days we had last week where it was frigging glorious? Me too, very fondly actually, you see I love summer, I love the heat but what I love most is that I get to utilise the 90% of my wardrobe that doesn't see light of day as its more suited to the limited warmer days we have. I know I know, wheres the logic in that you wonder? When I live in a country that's famed for it's wet weather and non-existent summer? Just call me a sucker for summer fashion.

I have an abundance of summer dresses and as soon as I saw the weather was actually warm enough to get the old milk bottles out I got so excited and hurried to find my most fave summer dress ever ever. Even though its black [a colour that's basically unheard of for me to wear] it's the one I find myself reaching for every time the 5 mins of summer comes around. I bought this like 6 years ago probably even longer from New Look in the sale for like £6 and the sheer amount of wear I get out of it [summer or winter] is a testament to how much of an excellent buy it was.

I find it a flattering fit albeit a tad on the bigger size now I've lost some weight since I first bought it. I love that it's made out of jersey material and guess what guys? It has POCKETS, I mean, if more clothes that I love had pockets not these stupid fake ones [I mean what the hell is that all about?] that would be ok by me. Now, as the dress is made out of jersey material and a little on the big side for me, I do find that I am in danger of the old nip slip so sometimes a vest or a little something underneath is a must, you know, just to stop me getting arrested for indecent exposure and all that.

We headed out to Manchester for the second time in a couple of days, not wanting to waste one minute of the glorious weather and also to return some stuff that we no longer needed for Zante, I couldn't pass up the chance to pose in front of some street art in the Northern Quarter, you know I'm all about a fancy wall as a back drop. The Vans made a return, lets face it they never went away as I knew I'd be doing some urban exploring and didn't want blisters all over my hooves [ a lesson I learn later in the week] and you'll be basically seeing these 24/7 until I wear them so much they fall off my feet. Also while in the Northern Quarter, I went to Home Sweet Home to pick up some cake for the car ride home. That place has some ridiculously sized cakes in there that taste GLORIOUS. Yes I did eat my piece all in one go and yes I felt sick for the rest of the day and couldn't have my tea. . . .  I'll be back though, this time to sit in and take in all the yummy things they have on offer, apparently they have cheese burger toasties? Obvs being a veg I won't be having one but I know one bearded man that would love to get him some of that [James, I'm talking about James] . Also S/O to the random boost bar packet floating around and killing my blog shoot vibe, you've made me hungry, gonna have to get me some now.
