The Nineties called, they want their shit back

Urban Outfitters PlayStation Crop

Oh hey, would you look at that? I accidentally channeled all thangz 90's in one outfit. I'm totally gonna pin the blame on the uber nostalgic PlayStation crop and space buns do a la Scary spice back in her girl power heyday. It's funny to think she was my least fave back then, now I feel I identify with her now more in my adult life, I was so naive as a child.

I'd like to bring your attention to the focal point of this blog post, the PlayStation crop. I saw a long sleeved lads version back at Christmas time and I had full intentions of buying JimJam one as a Xmas present cos he's a good egg and shit but I couldn't seem to get my bloody hands on one no matter where I looked. I'm a good shopper, I usually by some divine intervention manage to get my hands on  sort after things, but this top was a whole other story and I was pissed.

I'm guessing Urban Outfitter decided to do another drop as a few weeks back I saw not just the original version I wanted to get for James, but also cropped ones in the ladies section in both black and white. TBH, the price for each top was absolutely horrifying [come on, it is UO what do you expect] but, as it was 25% off with student discount that particular weekend it made the price of the shirts a hell a lot more reasonable and basically, it would be rude not to right? Plus nothing makes you feel older than them being in the ''vintage'' section. I once found an old school NFG top in the vintage renewal bit with a drive thru records logo on the back and everything, I wanted to save it from the hipsters who had probably never heard the musical delights of Catalyst but I couldn't afford £30 for a top that was so worn, it had started to bobble.

When I was a wee lass I used to love spending time playing on my PlayStation [Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, and Rayman 4 evaaa] so I immediately felt a little nostalgic when I saw this shirt [apparently, it's a running theme recently] that and the Japanese Kanji down the arms I was sold and bought it faster than you can say ''have we really become one of those couples that wear matching outfits?!''

As summer still hasn't graced Britain yet with its presence [shock] this is the perfect lightweight top to wear if ever if decides to show its face this year. Paired with my new fave wide leg trousers in the crinkle variety and my dad sandals everyone loves to hate accept from me, I was really digging the outcome of the outfit, as it was all kinds of baggy and comfortable, just how I like it.
