Wild Lolita

Pull and Bear Gingham Shirt

I keep applying way way way too much pressure on myself and the content I produce for my blog. I keep writing a post and hating the way they sound. Around 6 months ago I could pick up my Mac and just bash out a post I was happy with, now I'm constantly comparing what I'm writing to what I used to write and I'm trying not to hate everything I produce. It's like I upload the photos and then my minds blank as to what I wanna say. I guess there's only so many ways you can write about a new favorite wardrobe thang and make it exciting and enjoyable to read about. Same goes for my pictures. I'm starting to worry they're all starting to look a little samey so I'm trying to mix them up a little bit too. I think the problem I'm having is that I'm ruining it by caring a little too much and forgetting to have fun with what I produce, something I need to nip in the bud ASAP.

Mini word vomit type thing over. . . .

It's been a while since I wore any type of shirt, heck its been a while since I wore proper jeans [I still feel well frumpy in them] but I rly rly wanted to get a slice of the gingham trend that seems to have hit Spring full force. I was sold straight away to this Pull and Bear number cos:

1) It was in the sale and we all know how tight I am with my money ;)

2) The little embroidered roses are totes adorbs and it's a nice suitable nod to the embroidered trend

3) Slogan on the back? It's always gonna be a winner for me

As we're finally starting to see the beginning of Spring after what can only be described as the longest winter eva, this shirt is gonna help me nail transitional dressing until it's time to crack out the short shorts and flimsy summer dresses, I thrive in the summer and so does my wardrobe. It's long sleeve which will keep me warm against the enviable ''make your mind up weather'' [i.e it being glorious in the morning yet baltic in the afternoon] but soft and cool enough so I don't slow cook like a casserole your mam's making you for tea that evening. Minus the fact I look like an extra from an old Western film, I enjoyed just throwing on a shirt and a pair of jeans for a change, so much so I even did a cheeky lookbook that you can view below!

Is gingham your thang or is it a trend you'd rather give a miss? Let me know in the comments below <33
