NewLook Spliced Jumper

NGL, this photo set was hella' fun to shoot. The day felt like summer, I was in high spirits and I'd had a few good emails drop into my inbox that week. One that has totally blown my mind and I can't wait to share with you. I don't want to say too much just in case I jinx it for myself but basically that email= life made. All will be revealed soon [I hope]

Ok so you know how I said in my last post I couldn't really find a spliced tee that I really really liked? Well the day that post went up, my papa and I took to Goole to get me what I was lead to believe a free early upgrade, the whole affair turned out to be such a disaster including the worlds rudest manager I have ever encountered and, for the second time leaving the store upgrade-less. I digress as usual, after that minor inconvenience my papa an I browsed the New Look store, where I clocked this pastel beauty which my dad very kindly then bought for me. I love that this year the industry is mad for pink. Pink is my favourite colour and basically it's making me very bloody happy to see it everywhere. So back to the splice trend, this ins't necessarily the whole splice hog per se, it's not the traditional 2 shirts cut in half and then sewn together, it's more of a nod to the trend with the spliced Chicago text, cute!

This outfit left me feeling preppy as hell, I think it was mostly due to the super high pony I was sporting as I was just about to go to the hair dressers to get my 4-inch roots did and I CBA doing anything with it before hand. That and my polka dot collar poking out the top of my jumper. There's something I really like about a black, white and pink colour palette. Lastly, can we all take a moment to admire my beaut shoes from T.U.K? I was absolutely thrilled to receive these in the post after LondonEdge, I'll have another post up later in the week going into depths about them a little more but while you wait, you can use FOXXTAILZ20 at the UK site to get 20% off your purchase with them!

How would you have styled this jumper? Any trends you're thinking about giving a go? As always I'd love to know in the comments below <333

  3. I wasn't and still not sure about the split tee trend tbh but this jumper is just a play on one like you've said and yes in pink!!!

Loving the jumping for joy pics here too and I would be too if I had those beaut tuks on my feet, my good'old tuks are worn out so a new pair is in the pipeline.

Super excited to hear about your new projects and I hope all goes well for you lovely.
