FarFecth - The Modern Tailoring Edit

Untitled #9

There's something undeniably chic about a little tailoring in our outfits. I'm in a job where I can rock up in my vans and skinnies, no need for traditional office attire. However, I do find myself drooling over threads that would be seen on all career girl in the city. With the help of FarFetch, I've created a little something in the way of modern tailoring, with a twist of Jess ;) I've tried capturing 3 main elements whilst creating my perfect tailored look, silhouettes, experimentation, and edge. Ok, perhaps a lil luxury thrown in for good measure too.

£630 - farfetch.com

First up is this lil cape number from Alexander Mcqueen. You can't go wrong with a crisp white shirt to set off a bit more of a polished look. Dem cape sleeves are just [insert heart eye emoji here]

                    Kenzo long sleeve blazer
£115 - farfetch.com

I am in winter denial, As in I'm not quite ready to admit summer is over just yet. So the colour of this gorgeous Kenzo blazer is right up my street whilst I cling onto the last of the summer. Does this screams Samatha Jones from SATC to anyone else? I'd feel like I'd be channelling all kinds of Sam Jones vibes in this neon blazer.

 £520 - farfetch.com

I have died and gone to tailored trouser heaven. These bad boys will bring all kinds of silhouettes with that dreamy asymmetric leg. A girl can dream to own a pair of trousers as yummy as these.

                         Valentino leather ankle strap sandals
£870 - farfetch.com

I have been after a pair of these babies for so so long. With the leather and studs, they definitely bring the all important edge factor [lol sounds like another bad talent show] to a chic and smart outfit.

 £3,875 - farfetch.com

Backpacks are my new bae and this Chanel one is friggin' perfection. However, white items and I don't tend to get on cos all the spillage and yeah well let's just           say it won't look like that after  I've had it long. Still pretty doe.

  £565 - farfetch.com

Yeah, sunglasses in winter what about it? Sunglasses can be worn anytime, any outfit. Don't believe me? Well, just take a look at Anna Wintour she's always sporting an oversized pair of sunnies whenever she feels. So fashion YOLO.

What do you think of these items? How would you have done ''modern tailoring'?
