Personal Style: Not Everything Sucks

Red shirt leopard print

The Fricks this weather? I’m so damn cold I just wanna roll myself up in my duvet like a burrito and sit at my desk at work and call people but apparently thats frowned upon and not in the dress code or something. Anyway mini rant over and the smallest tangent ever on to the clothes. . . .

I’ve wanted this Abandon ship shirt for a long time now and when I saw Ark had it in the sale for £7 [thats right £7 English pounds] I snagged this bad boy feeling super smug i’d been able to get my hands on it for such a steal. The main reason I wanted this shirt was for the slogan.
"Not everything sucks" It really really doesn’t. I’ve got myself a new life code, a mantra if you will and on the back of the New Year this is the kind of positive attitude to bring all the way though 2016.

As you all know i’m not a jeans kinda gal so I thought i’d team it up with my body con skirt I picked up in vintage shop in Camden a few years ago to add the colour you all do know I love to bring to my outfits. I’m an avid believer you can dress up T-shirt with anything and you don’t just have to throw one on with a pair of jeans. The beanie was a gift that I received for Christmas from my grandma [cheers Brenda] that I thought i’d crack out in the god awful weather the Christmas break brought. Micro fringes and British weather elements do not mix, I wore it in an attempt to keep my hair in check. [I look so odd without my signature fringe, like i’m not so sure i’m a fan of not having it out?] and also to bring the grunge element I like to channel in my outfits.

  4. I love that t-shirt and it's so true too! I'm generally an upbeat person but this year I really wanted to head into 2016 complaining less and enjoying things more - and I have to agree, if only workplaces allowed us to take our duvets in with us! You look lovely! - Tasha
