Personal Style: Can I Be ‘’Tres Chic” Too?

Primark Tres Chic

First #OOTD post of 2016 and can I just say [big headed-ly sorry] that i’m actually dead proud of this photoset, Well I technically didn’t actually do anything I kinda just stood there whilst Jim snap snap snapped away BUT never the less, I like how these turned out. It’s the mint door I think. I’m a sucker for a mint door and that the lighting was in our favour for the first time in forever this Christmas break. This is the standard I want to set with 2016. Photos sets and post i’m dead proud of once I hit the publish button.

So this jumper, pretty sweet yeah?
I first noticed it on a shopping trip to Primark with the work girls a good few months back. It had been payday and I was feeling somewhat a weekend millionaire, It’s a trait of mine. As per I’d filled my basket to the brim, to then make cuts as we headed to the checkout [not so weekend millionaire]. Knowing James would be mad if I brought home ANOTHER pull over, the jumper was cut a last minuet decision at the checkout.
And thats when I couldn’t stop thinking about it. . . .
I saw this lovely little thang popping up all over the internetz, mocking me. Every Instagram post I saw, YouTube haul I sighed wishing i’d brought the damn thing home with me which is odd. I like to usually steer clear of things that everyone gal and her pretty kitty owns but this jumper spoke to me.

I spent Christmas in Cheshire with James and his family. Boxing day we decided to head into Manchester, not to hit the sales as we are/were broker then broke [and had been totally spoilt rotten] but to check out some of the ‘’niche’’ shops of the Northern Quarter and seek out some cool street art.  Whenever i’m in Manchester I just have to check out the Primark there and on a whim, I saved a picture of this jumper off the Primark site and asked someone if they still stocked them expecting them say no and me left heart broken. The sales assistant took me straight to them and I had to stifle a squeal as she pointed out the last 2. luckily there was still one left in a size 8 and I was all kinds of happy and skipped to the cashier to hand over £8.

This Outfit right here I have basically lived in this Christmas holidays, comfy to lounge around in on those grey days where its raining and you just CBA but also styled right I can get away with wearing it seeing pals, going out for food and spending time in the village i’m going to be moving to in January without feeling like a total scruff. Leggings, trainers and a pull over don’t exactly scream chic but I think I managed to get away with it in this case.
