Only You

Guys, I have serious holiday blues going down at the moment. It's only day 2 at work and i've crashed back into reality and hard. Its been really difficult to adjust my body by 9 hours. In these pictures i'm tired and it shows. I was half way though battling JL [ I feel like i've mentioned Jet lag so much ima allowed to abbreviate it in the hope you know what i'm rambling about]. My skins not its best either, lets face it it never is, I look all grey and pale and bumpy i'd kinda like some sort of complexion that resembles a 25 year old and not a 15 year old, minus wrinkles. I have though tried to freshen up my hair a bit and got it dyed a lovely purple colour and I feel all autumnal and festive. [I don't know why hair colour would bring festive cheer but ima roll with it]. and it creates the illusion my hairs in shiny great condition when literally it's split end city.

Enough of the boo hoo poor Jess. How wicked is this jacket? It's hard to pick a favourite but it is defiantly one of my top picks I brought back from Japan, and I brought back a lot of stuff. Numerous hauls to be filmed for this lil old blog of mine in the pipe line. I found it whilst exploring the Camden-esque ''Takeshita'' street in Harajuku, full of shops, stalls and bouquets that could fulfil anyones wildest kawaii dreams. Lets just say I was in my absolute element. Slightly reminiscing about it is making my weep into my cheese on toast. I've wanted a pastel coloured jacket for a little while wanting one for warmer summer months and I literally fell in love with this one as soon I saw it.
I'm not really a jeans and shirt kinda girl. I hardly ever ever wear jeans as mentioned in previous posts to this I find them so unflattering for my shape [muffin top city] and this particular pair felt a little tight so they've always been left to the back of my draw, on a whim and because all my other clothes were in the process of being washed I tried them on and they fit perfectly. I later discovered I had managed to loose over half a stone whilst away? Like all I did was eat pizza and all the ice cream so i'm really unsure how that happened, not like i'm complaining. I tried on for the first time this delightfully tacky T-shirt that kind of has a 80's vintage feel also something I picked up in Japan for like a fiver, gotta bring back a token tacky souvenir tee ;) Finishing off the outfit I put on my new acquired vans you guessed it brought back from Japan. I had seen these in a few shops and I got all the heart palpitations when I first saw them and well if you get those kind of feels for something you need to buy said item causing heart failure and also get help. Fast.

  1. Awh, there is nothing worse than holiday blues - I was a mess for a good month or so when I came back from Amsterdam. I suppose I didn't have any jet lag to contend with at least! These are some amazing souvenirs to remember your time until you can go back though - I love the jacket and the tee. I'm also really loving your hair colour! :) x
