From Tokyo, With Love

I am home. Like literally I have never felt like I belong more in a place ever like I do Japan. This is my second visit to this amazing place and just like before it has completely blown my mind. I can quite confidently say that I could live here, completely throw myself into this culture and be happy. No culture shock, just 100% contentment.

Since our arrival Friday, I have had a smile plastered on my face, my jaw hurts! I'm also knackered. I've never had jet lag before, the first morning I was wide awake at 3am unable to get back to sleep no mater how much I willed myself. I think i'm over the worst of it and now i'm just weary from doing all the walking and exploring. So far We have visited Akihabara to satisfy all of James and Lewis's gaming and anime needs also paying a visit to a maid cafe to get my fill of kawaii with the cutest lunch ever. I have absolutely destroyed my bank account at Harajuku whilst being quite cultural at the Meiji Shrine. Today we ventured out to main Tokyo, went up the Tokyo tower and spotted Mount Fuji. I still have over a week to go and I already don't want to go home. I'm so excited for the rest of this adventure. Watch this space for more updates, I plan on doing more in depth posts about some of my favourite places along with a Tokyo shopping haul to be filmed when I'm back, I HAVE BOUGHT EVERYTHNAGG. Like seriously the whole of Tokyo. Hey, I didn't sell all my stuff on eBay and do a stupid amount of overtime to not get and do what I want to do.
