Permanent accessoration

Can I just start by saying that its incredibly difficult to take pictures of your own tattoos, like I must of taken about 67 blurry fox pictures until I managed to get some half decent ones. Kinda gave in in the end and asked Jim to give me a hand. But then I wasn't in control of the picture which I don't really like, I have an idea in my head of how I want it to look. Pictures need to be interesting not in just the subject and what they show but in the way it's taken and how it's shown I.E angles, it's like Pokemon you gotta catch them all. [ Yes I went there].  Anyway above is my pride and joy Eveie ^_^. Eveie was the first BIG tattoo I acquired back in January 2013. The incredibly tatlanted Joel P Blake at Best Western Tattoos in Swindon slogged away for 9+ hours in one session to get this complete. If you haven't already guessed from my various screen names and social medias [FOXXTAILZ] i'm hugely hugely into the fluffy orange cuties.

And with Eveie still fresh, the week after I snapped up the chance to be tattooed by one of my favourite ladies, Cassandra Frances, then at End Times Tattoos in Leeds [whey] At the time there was a huge waiting list so I managed to snag an early spot. The dark parts of the rose actually cover up a flash piece bluebird I got just after my 18th birthday. Mind my chubz are palz.

I remember being so happy when both were finally free of scabs and completely healed. Nothing worse then two unhealed big tattoos on your arms restricting your movements for a good few weeks.

I'm in the middle off trying to fill up my left leg, but anyone who has [decent] tattoos will know that they don't come cheap ya'll. The owl was done 3 years in June coming up by JJ at Awake Arise in York. Not his design, that was drawn up for me. I made a vow to myself to not get any more tattoos until that was finished 3 more later and it's still not complete. Now anyone that knows me will know my true love and obsession are Paramore. I usually blag the to put it loosely ''DJ's'' head in Kans [Selby's local club?] to put it on, to many a chavs disgust. Thats right we're still teeming with the Burberry wearing turds. Hence the ''Still into you'' heart By Hannah Clark at rain City Manchester.

This little cutie I won recently on a Rachel Baldwin Alpaca instagram tattoo compertion. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got the notification and practically leapt of the sofa screaming. I had to get James to double check it was me. I then proceeded to for the few weeks until I got it randomly shouting to James ''I WON A RACHEL BALDWIN TATTOO!'' Please note the sailor moon theme ^_^The same day I got my kawaii pizza slice that Rachel's husband, Nick did for me and Jim, couples tattz yo. Basically our relationship was founded on a strong bond over pizza and Hellmans mayo.

Now if you got to the end of the post, you're still reading perhaps even loosely interested well done you. I ramble ramble ramble on and this is lengthly. I get a lot of my ''tattoosperation'' from IG, my feed is just filled with mostly the tattooists I love and there work. Matt Cooley at Rain City manchester etched these cute Swedish trolls onto my leg permamtalty. I love the Tove Jasson illustrations, why not have one on my thigh forever? Her work decorates most of our house much to James dismay [he's not so fond of the ''space hippos'' as he likes to call them] I feel tattoos don't really need meaning or have to be for someone/thing. Just have fun with it with a DECENT tattooist. I have other tiny tattoos that litter my body from my fingers to my feet star tattoo an all [I was 16 give me a break ha!]I have countless ideas of what ima get next. Until next time palz.

Middle Earth

It's weird to think this secluded woodland area is in the outskirts of Selby. If you're unfortunate enough to have heard of the place or even visited, you'll know what I mean. It's not the best. . . . to put it politely but I guess it's home. [Home for me is actually Leeds but this is home for now].

Aww he cute ^_^ So to cure Sunday bordem, Maddi, Steve, Jim Jam and I took to Brayton Barff. I used to live in a village that was literally round the corner from the Barff, like so close I could see it out of my bedroom window. I spent most of my time there as a child, me and my younger sister even used to take up our guinea pigs [Scuff and Dougal God rest your fluffy souls] and steal carrots from the field next to the Barff. Not the greatest idea when the place is crawling with dogs.

Hey look I did a thing to my hair if you can see? I spent the best part of the day ombre-ing my hair teal. After watching a few YouTube videos I felt pretty confident, it didn't turn out so bad. It's a shame at work I have to hide it as best I can. Uncool to hide yourself, the real you and how you dress/decorate yourself in 99% of companies now a days. Anyway we found this dead cool little wigwam thing that someone had made out of sticks, it provided decent Shelter cos pal that wind was COLD.

Just doing some interpretative dancing to warm myself up. Right i'm going to have my make my next post about my wardrobe or something otherwise this whole blog concept is completely pointless. I can't take myself seriously for like ''outfit pictures'' oh Gawdd.

Another none themed post

I'm not doing very well am I? Second post and no disgustingly glorious clothing to show off yet. That's the price you pay whilst waiting a month for your eBay items from Hong Kong to show up. Anyway it's PANCAKE DAY. I was totally unaware until Lucy Piped up at work. Straight away I was on the phone to Jim asking if we could cook up some concoctions of our own for tea. I am now disgustingly full. Like ready to pop full of pancake goodness full.

So now shrove Tuesday's nearly done and dusted time to get down to the real reason behind pancake day. Lent palz. Coming from a fairly religious background I know the story and reason behind the day quite well and I take part in Lent every year. Chocolate/cake are my greatest vices, I just can't get enough so it's worthwhile picking something that's an actual challenge if you're going to do it. So today after the sudden realisation I crammed in enough cake and chocolate to get me through the 40+ day draught. Fun fact lent always ALWAYS falls over my birthday. So actually not such a fun fact for me, cake and chocolate free birthdays are not the one, especially when you want to turn to the sugary stuff after minor depression with the realisation that you have turned another year older [25 next month LORDDDD.]

''Can I haz some?!' LOL below is Cassandra cat. She always needs to have whatever it is I have or what I am eating. She's my best pal, I'm guessing she will be popping up on my blog a lot. So to concldude, what are you guys going to give up for lent? ever tired it before? Who am I even talking too?

Sleepy Sunday

This isn't necessarily keeping to the theme of my new blog, but seeing as I am waiting on various hilarious items of clothing I have bought from China to show up I thought I'd show off my boy for the time being.  My boy and I decided to go on a walk around where we live and I couldn't not help sharing these pictures I took of my Jim.
Instead of spending the day lazing on the sofa hungover we thought we'd actually do something productive with our day free from work. I being a true Yorkshire girl/country bumpkin at heart what better way to spend it by walking past picturesque fields and filling up your lungs with fresh country air. [We we're lucky today, no muck was being spread so enjoy the fresh air we did] Side note, you know you're from Yorkshire when you get use to having to deal with the outside not smelling so great certain periods of time in the year. You also know you're from Yorkshire, when while walking to work a lorry drives by carrying hay and covers you head to toe in said stray hay. Cool Beanz I wanted to look like a scarecrow anyway. Jim is still getting used to all this being as he is from Manchester [ew]

SO I dusted off my very very neglected Nikon 1, [due to the connivence of my Iphone 5 opps my bad] that's been living next to my ever growing camera collection and thought I'd have a little play to bring me back up to speed on shooting. It's a shame people choose connivence [myself included] one of my new years resolutions was to bring out my camera more and not reach for my Iphone.
Hiya this is me, my names Jess and I dress as if I fell into my wardrobe and rolled about in it. Someone once described me as eclectic which I guess is cool. I'm not so keen on people that are dripping in Topshop. Why pay £32+ for a generic plaid shirt that 36373637 other people bought that week when you can scour the internet and buy something funnn. Hey another side note, I was showing Jim how to work my camera, halfway push to focus yeah!

First post was pretty much Pointless I guess but I wanted to figure out the dynamic of Blogger. See ya Palz.
